DJC Gears

Specialist small gear cutter and maker and builder of new clocks on commission

This web site gives you a taste of what I can make for your project.
I manufacture small gears and mechanism parts for clocks, watches, restoration projects and the model market.

Below are some examples of work done.

Crown gear
I was asked if I could make a small crown wheel for a model slot car. This is the prototype top left. The wheel and pinion gears bottom left and right were made to fit a musical box movement.

Verge escape wheel for a pocket watch
A Verge Escape wheel for a pocket watch 2.8mm outside diameter (coin is 18mm diameter, British 5p).
